(1) The restrictive phrase of Section 168 of the Vehicle and Transport Management Act, 2049 has been repealed.
(2) Regardless of what is written in the current law, if the legal arrangements related to the procurement of public bodies as per sub-section (2) of clause (b) of section 2 are not found to be compatible with this Act, the Public Procurement Monitoring Office shall write to the relevant public body to amend this Act so that it is compatible. (2A) If written according to sub-section (2), the relevant public body shall amend its procurement law in accordance with this Act within one month and give the information to the Public Procurement Monitoring Office.
(2B) If information is not given in accordance with sub-section 2(a), such legal provision related to purchase shall automatically be deemed to be invalid to the extent that it is inconsistent with this Act.
(3) For section 7 of the Financial Procedures Act, 2055, the following section 7 shall be substituted:-
